Design
If you were to build a house you'd begin with an architect, and the electronics
in your home are no different. Consulting on equipment choices and locations is
just one of the jobs of our design team. Educating our clients to the various
technologies available, setting budgets and helping them make informed choices
based on their lifestyle provides the greatest assurance of a desired end result.
Project management
Once the "blueprint" is approved and an agreement is signed with AVT a very key
portion of the job immediately begins: project management. We take on the
responsibility of coordination with the other key personnel involved in the
project, i.e. the interior designer, builder, cabinet craftsmen, and many
times other trades to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Installation
This is the actual running of the wires throughout your home or business. All
wires are tested and then labeled. We have worked with numerous builders
and can work within any reasonable limitation.
Our company is particularly adept at retrofit installations. For the projects that
require installation work post-construction we have a wide range of talent and
tools that allow us to create stellar systems, often without the need for sheet-rock
repair.
Hook up
Connecting Audio/Video equipment is becoming more and increasingly complicated.
With the continued integration of computer technologies with A/V electronics
we can expect this trend to continue. To give you the best system possible we not
only connect the equipment and test it; we also label all of the cables and
provide a flow chart to simplify any future work or service that may be done on
the system.
Programming
To get optimum performance from many of today’s systems, multiple levels of
programming need to be conducted. This may be as simple as setting the clock
on the VCR or as complex as configuring Palm-style touch screens capable of seamlessly
controlling every piece of the A/V equipment.
Instruction
By far the most important service we offer. The best technology in the
world is useless if you don’t know how to use it! We dedicate as much time as
necessary to insure that the system is as easy to use as possible and that the
features available are intuitive
